My film PLANT IN MY HEAD was select for the experimental short film competition of Lausanne Underground Film & Music Festival (LUFF). the festival take place from 15 to 19.20.2014, Lausanne, Switzerland.

Visual loop for Heatsick live at Voo Store Berlin event for the Berlin release of the 20th issue of Fantastic Man and the 10th instalment of The Gentlewoman on October 4th.

I will present two new works at next Unsound Festival. For Vessel I will present a new live visual work done in collaboration with Vessel and inspired on the visual universe of his lat album “Punish Honey” (October 16th at Hotel Forum, Krakow).
And also a new commissioned live visual work for Craig Leon’s “Nommos” presented with players from Poland’s Sinfonietta Cracovia, in collaboration Norwegians filmmaker Stian Smestad and Frode Fjedingstad that will bring their original footage/films that I will manipulation and build the live visual work. The visual work will be inspired by the idea of dreamscape and what is dream vision of someone from outer space, a speculation of what the “Nommos” see (19th October at ICE, Krakow).

I contribute with some film scans for the Japanese zine BABYLON ZINE #2 “Utopia/Dystopia” that will be presented at Tokyo Art Book Fair from 19-21 September. The issue is limited to 100 copies and could be found at booth B29.

I will present “MNEMONIC DEVICE”, a new commission installation work for Berlin Atonal Festival, in collaboration with Marcel Zu (MFO). To be seen from 21-24.08.2014 at Kraftwerk Berlin.

On July 11th I’m presenting a new commission live visual work with live soundtrack by Sensible Soccers at next Curtas Vila do Conde International Film Festival. OFF THE STRENGTH OF HIS SIDE (Portugal · 2014 · 45’) is a film concert around football imaginary and the real-time live cinema based on the manipulation of celluloid film loops of moments of the game where most of the football elements were removed.

From June 27–29 I’m presenting a variation of my installation “PORTRAIT – Super 8 Series” at WOLF Berlin. Part of Labor Berlin show and part of 48h Neukölln event.

Live cinema collaboration with AYBEE and THOMASH on June 20th at UNIT Tokyo/Japan. Visual work based and inspired by the paintings of the Japanese painter Yuriko Shimamura. Promoted by FRUE.

I will present a live visual collaboration with SVRECA (Semantica / Spain) on 2 shows in Tokyo/Japan. January 24th at Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo and January 25th UNIT. Promoted by FRUE.

I will present two commisioned work at next Unsound Festival. For Demdike Stare & Andy Stott show “Eutectic” I will present a work made from an obsolete analogue video system based purely on video hardware and video feedback (October 19th, 00h30, Hotel Forum). And for Jacaszek & Kwartludium project “Catalogue des Arbres” I will present a visual work inspired by the work of the polish painter Leon Tarasewicz and based on trees and leaves footage shoot by Michael Jacaszek and myself and further handling through an analogue video manipulation (October 20th, 20h00m, Kraków Philharmonic).

In the last months I was working for Porto Poetic exhibition that will include 28 videos made by me (and sound by Luís Fernandes) featuring the constructions of the best portuguese architects Álvaro Siza Vieira and Eduardo Souto de Moura. This exhibition is presented by OASRN Norte,curated Roberto Cremascoli and will open next thursday September 12th at La Triennale di Milano (Milan/Italy). It’s 2 hours, 28 minutes, 24 seconds and 19 frames to watch!
